HoldsĀ three industry-recognized certifications
CLARSKVILLE, Ind. (Dec. 20, 2016) ā Scott P. Carr has been namedĀ chief risk officer for First Savings Bank in Southern Indiana. He spent the past 11 years in risk management, regulatory compliance, Bank Secrecy Act and information security with the former Your Community Bank.
Carr graduatedĀ from Indiana University in 2001 after serving four years as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. HeĀ graduated from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking in 2013. He holds three industry-recognized certifications; Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and Certified AML and Fraud Profession from the Institute of Certified Bankers and Certification in Risk Management Assurance from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Carr has served on numerous non-profit boards and is currently on the Rauch Board of Directors, Leadership Southern Indiana Executive Board, South Central Officials Association Board of Directors and the Indiana Football Officials Association. He also is an NCAA College Football Official on staff with the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
