YPAL of Louisville accepting applications for Emerging Leaders Program

Begins in March

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2017) — The Young Professional Association of Louisville (YPAL) is accepting application for its Spring 2017 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).

imgres-2ELP, a three-month accelerated and intensive leadership development program for young professionals, is designed to give participants the opportunity to develop foundational leadership skills and elevate their professional and personal growth. The course includes 20 hours of intensive training and gives participants the opportunity to connect meaningfully with peers and local leaders.

Participants also engage in a class project that focuses on quality of life and the amenities that are important to young professionals in Louisville. In addition to broadening each participant’s influence and impact on the community, the project gives them a chance to recommend changes or solutions to help Louisville attract and retain young professional talent.

The 2017 Spring program is from March to June. Eight cohorts have graduated from the ELP since it began in the spring of 2013.
