
LEXINGTON (April 20, 2017) – Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis will discuss the importance of joint health and his personal experience dealing with joint pain at a free seminar at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Saint Joseph, part of KentuckyOne Health, is helping educate the community on joint pain at a seminar held 5:30-7 p.m on Wednesday, April 26 at Saint Joseph Hospital in the Blakely Auditorium, located at 1 Saint Joseph Drive.
Bettis, a former Pittsburgh Steelers player, retired in 2006 after the Steelers won Super Bowl XL. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 and is now a spokesperson for Stryker Orthopaedics, a leader in orthopedic medical technology.
Tharun Karthikeyan, MD, Lexington Clinic Orthopedics, will also discuss arthritis of the hip and knee and surgical/non-surgical alternatives, and answer questions about joint pain from those in attendance.
