(July 23, 2012) — The hit reality television show that looks for America’s next singing sensation will conduct auditions for Season 12 in Bowling Green, Ky.
The city is among 10 chosen for the American Idol Small Town Audition Bus Tour. Also chosen were: Idaho Falls, Idaho; Billings, Mont.; Casper, Wyo.; Rock Rapids, Iowa; Iowa City, Iowa; Clarksdale, Miss.; Joplin, Mo.; Dodge City, Kansas; and Grand Junction, Colo.
“The series will leave no stone unturned in its quest for talent, and for the first time ever, will embark on the American Idol Small Town Audition Bus Tour, a 10-town nationwide mobile tour offering hopefuls a chance to audition,” the Fox TV show website says.
The audition dates have not yet been announced.
