Includes four classes
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 22, 2017) — Lexington Parks & Recreation is offering free Red Cross lifeguard certification for people ages 15 and older. Training includes a commitment to work for Lexington Parks & Recreation Aquatics facilities for the remainder of the summer.
Classes will take place at the Woodland Aquatic Center (190 Old Park Avenue) on the following days:
- June 24: 1–8 p.m.
- June 25: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- June 30: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- July 1: 1–8 p.m.
Participants must attend all four classes. Once completed, all participants are guaranteed a job at the Lexington Parks & Recreation Aquatics facilities, working 20 to 40 hours per week.
