WASHINGTON, Pa. — Fairmont Supply Company, one of the largest full-line distributors of industrial maintenance repair and operation supplies in the U.S., has expanded its business by opening two new branch locations in Cumberland, Ky. and Wharncliffe, W.Va.
The addition of these fully-operational facilities takes the company’s total sites to 22.
As they approach their 100-year anniversary, the move was strategic for Fairmont Supply. The expansion positions them to increase market share within each of the respective industries including coal, energy, and manufacturing. In addition, each site is staffed with the functional disciplines that will easily support business development efforts in target-rich territories.
“The opening of our two new locations in Wharncliffe and Cumberland reinforces our drive to serve our customers in that proximity,” said Frank Pidro, vice president of Operations. “As a company, we believe that growing the Fairmont Supply brand will bring value to our business and quality to our customers.
