Hats for Hope annual benefit scheduled for April 16

Event supports breast cancer patient care with Derby style

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2015) — Hats for Hope to support breast cancer patient care will have its annual event from 6-9:30 p.m. on April 16 at Triple Crown Conference Center. All proceeds from the event go to the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center at University of Louisville’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

Last year, the event netted $60,000 and has drawn more than $500,000 over the past 11 years. This year’s event will feature approximately 300 new and gently worn designer Kentucky Derby hats and 100 auction packages, including gift baskets, jewelry, gift certificates and trips.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 the day of the event.
