LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 17, 2018) — Lexington Clinic has announced that four new physicians are now part of Central Kentucky’s largest multi-specialty medical group.
Dr. Ellen Flinchum, Dr. Brad Ihrig, Dr. Katherine Roden and Dr. James Smith Jr., are now accepting new patients.
Dr. Flinhcum and Dr. Roden will both be part of Lexington Clinic’s re-offering of pain medicine services. Dr. Flinchum completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, after receiving her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Flinchum is board-certified in Pain Medicine as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Roden completed a fellowship in pain medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and residency in anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina, after receiving her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Roden is board-certified in Anesthesiology and board-eligible in pain medicine.
Dr. Ihrig completed a residency in family medicine at In His Image Family Practice Residency in Tulsa, Okla., after receiving his medical degree from the University of West Virginia and master of public health degree from Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Ihrig served as a preceptor at the Western Montana Family Medicine Residency for the past four years and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine.
Dr. Smith completed a residency in neurosurgery as well as an internship in general surgery at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Smith is board-eligible in neurosurgery.
